Secure your boat covers and canvas without drilling holes. The YKK SNAD® self-adhesive snap stud provides a tidy fixing point with simple peel-and-stick installation.

Its smooth, low-profile design helps reduce snagging on clothing and is more comfortable underfoot than traditional protruding metal studs. Choose from 25mm or 40mm base diameters in clear.

Installation and care

1. Ensure the mounting surface is clean, dry and sound.

2. Clean with a 50/50 mixture of isopropyl alcohol and water, checking compatibility with the surface first. Allow to dry completely.

3. Peel off the protective backing without touching the adhesive.

4. Position the stud and apply firm pressure to ensure good surface contact.

5. Allow the adhesive bond to develop before putting the fitting under load. For best results, allow 72 hours at approximately 21°C.

Adhesion depends on the surface material, preparation and application conditions.
