Zhik Performance Ankle Boot

The Zhik Performance Ankle Boot has been redesigned from the sole up for sailors who need grip, durability and freedom of movement. Its low-cut profile lets your ankle move naturally when trapezing, sailing a dinghy or paddling.

The sole is bonded to the boot under high pressure using strong adhesives, with additional stitching at the toe box for reinforcement. This construction produces a flexible, low-profile boot that’s ready to wear straight out of the box. Zhik says the bonding process uses less energy than traditional vulcanisation.

A high-grip rubber compound offers twice the sole durability of previous designs, while the flexible tread provides traction on wet and mixed surfaces. The high-walled outsole helps protect against abrasion, and integrated drainage ports let water escape.

The neoprene upper has stitched, rubber-coated panels and protective toe and heel overlays. A wide 40 mm hook-and-loop ankle strap secures the fit, while an easy-entry opening and heel pull loop make the boot simple to put on and take off.

Adjustable fit

The removable insole can be glued in for a secure performance fit, as Zhik recommends, or removed for approximately half a size of extra room. The boot is also compatible with the Hiking X Carbon Insole for added directional stiffness.

Sizing: Uses standard US shoe sizing, sizes 5–13. If you’ve owned Zhik boots before, check the current size guide before ordering; your previous size may differ.
